This is my third locomotive based diorama in a row, so just one left and I will go to other things. This one is a 0-3-0 and I just modeled a part of the hull and the tender. I love the little robinets on each side. It’s located again in Southern Ukraine during the Russian Civil War. Some locomotives at that time were painted various shades of olive green.
The painting techniques are rather different than what I usually use : everything was basically dry brushed, and I sprayed some Gen2 acrylics above the rough work to get unity.
The terrain was only painted with pigments using @akinteractive.official fixer and more Gen2 in the shadows. That’s because I wanted a really dusty aspect on the whole scene.
Finally, the little robinets were painted with @akinteractive.official bronze markers.
